RAF member colonel Alois Šoba
plk. Alois Šoba *13.11.1911 +12.11.1969
Born in the family of farmers Marie a František in Mašovice (48°51'26.548"N, 15°58'24.761"E). He graduated from high school in Znojmo (Czechoslovakia) and the Miliraty scholl. In 1940 he left the country.
He participated in the fighting against the Germans in France, escaped to UK. He joined the RAF, promoted to the rank of captain. In 1945 came back to Czechoslovakia. After the political turn in 1948
expelled from the Army. Communists hated him. Rehabilitated in 1968. Died in 1969.
